The first tree of reformation is planted

On 31st of October a festive act of planting the first tree of reformation took place in Bardejov under ECAC in Slovakia.
Brother General Bishop Miloš Klátik informed the assemblage gathered in the yard of the House of Gründlov in Bardejov that couple of days ago in Wittenberg; he has planted a tree with the number 150 in the name of our church. Until we reach the year of 500th anniversary of reformation, there will be 500 trees of different species planted in Luther garden in Wittenberg by various church representatives.
Brother Klátik called on our congregations to plant 500 “reformation trees“ until year 2017 within our church to commemorate this significant anniversary.
The first tree of this kind was planted on the courtyard of a future museum of Leonard Stöckel on Bardejov by our church representatives.
The mayor of Bardejov MUDr. Boris Hanuščak and other public figures were present.
