Study´s days of Triple Alliance took place in training center Cementár in Belušské Slatiny, 9.-11. october 2014. The host church was our Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession (ECAC) in Slovakia.
Triple Alliance between Evangelical-Lutheran Church in Würrtemberg, Evangelical Church in Central Germany and ours ECAC in Slovakia celebrated 20. anniversary of cooperation a year ago. Study´s days of Triple Alliance are held every year and offered members church, or members of their partner organizations space to strengthen the cooperation, reflection on current topics and encouragement to another work. The theme of the study´s days was: „Changing challenges for pastors, women pastors and other co-workers in their service in Church“. The whole discussion was led by General Bishop ECAC Miloš Klátik. From the partner churches was attended 27 representative from pastor associations, Evangelical diaconia, Evangelical women communion, Synod and Youth communion.
On first day of discussion was on the schedule short reports partner churches and theirs parts. Evening devotion served Daniela Horínková, chairwoman Evangelical women communion. The next day participations could heard lectures chairman pastor association in Thuringia – Martin Michaelis and chairman Association of Protestant clergy in Slovakia – Jaroslav Matys.
On the afternoon they visited a hill – Butkov, which has a beatiful view on the landscape. With the church is very close related diaconia. On the in invitation of director Center of evangelical diaconia in Košeca – Marcel Brečeh and diacon – Ľubomír Marcina visitors was able to see diaconal center. They could see everyday demanding but blessed work this centre.
In closing participants assessed Study´s days of Triple Alliance and highlight importance of these meeting. Closing devotion was led by woman - pastor Frida Rothe.
