A training conference for the employees of ECAC in Slovakia took place in the international evangelical youth center ICHTYS in Velky Slavkov on 21st of January 2012. The theme topic of the training was „Support of Missionary Activities“. Dr. Silke Lechner, project manager of the DEKT (Deutsche Evangelische Kirchentag), was supervising the training.
She has informed the attendants about the history of Kirchentag and spoke also of its structure and planning process. Dr. Lechner the continued to talk about other topics and issues that accompany planning of such a larg event. (Last Kirchentag was attended by 40 thousand people and the staff among others consisted of 5000 voulentaries)
