On 11 December 2013 in Bratislava, the World Association of Slovaks Living Abroad set up the Ecumenical Spiritual Council within the Year of Constantine and Methodius 2013.
The Ecumenical Spiritual Council will cope with spiritual and religious problems of Slovaks living abroad. Bishop of the ECAC in Serbia, Samuel Vrbovský was installed as a chairman.
