Board of ECAC and Conference of bishops of ECAC in Slovakia has attended the State awards ceremony on 3. of January 2012.
The ceremony has taken place in the historical building of the Slovak National Council at Hurban’s square in Bratislava. Ivan Gašparovič, the president at the Slovak republic awarded the Order of Ludovit Stur or Pribina’s Cross to 14 figures of various areas – science, art, history, culture, and economics: historian Ladislav Deák in memoriam, doctor Ladislav Mach, architct Ivan Matušík, actors Gustáv Valach in memoriam and Jozef Adamovič and others.
