ECAC congregation in Bardejov published a book by doc. Andrej Hajduk in honor of the reformer, pedagogue, theologist, and humanist Leonard Stöckel (1510-1560) under the title „Leonard Stöckel. Život a dielo“(Leonard Stöckel. Life and Work).
This is a second edition of the book as the first edition was released in 1999 at the Lutheran Seminary in Bratislava (EBF UK) and had first printing of only 250 pieces. For this reason the Bardejov Congregation of ECAC published edited version of the first edition in hardcover with added colored photographs in printing of 1000 pieces.
Pastor Velebir noted that thanks to the „Hoffnung für Osteuropa“ fund this book can be donated to all of our Lutheran schools around Slovakia.
Brother doc. Andrej Hajduk talked about the book and the work that has been put into its creation in past and about the significance of Leonard Stöckel for Slovakia. At the end of this event doc. Hajduk was giving autographs and signing the books.
