Miloš Klátik Part of Discussions with the Representatives of the European Union

On the 19th of July, 2010, General Bishop Miloš Klátik was invited by the chairman of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, to Brussels to participate at the annual meeting of the representatives of the European churches with the highest ranking representatives of the European Union.
The top representatives of the European churches were received by the chairman of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, the chairman of the European Parliament, Jerzy Buzek, and the chairman of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy. The main discussion of the meeting centered around the issues of fighting poverty and social exclusion on our continent.

From the 20th to 27th of July, 2010, the General Bishop was at the head of a four- member delegation of the ECAC in Slovakia at the 11th General Assembly of the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) in Stuttgart, Germany.
