From the Meeting of the ECAC in Slovakia about the Inner Relationships

On June 8, 2013, the Board of the ECAC in Slovakia had a meeting dealing with the inner relationships of the ECAC. The meeting was opened and led by the Director of the General Bishop’s Office Dušan Vagaský.
At the beginning, the General Inspector of the ECAC, Imrich Lukáč, said that the aim of this meeting was to give time for expressing opinions and discussing problems of the members of the church in general. He also said that they were to find a way of communicating that does not offend others and that the internal problems of the church should not be made public. After these introductory words, a discussion followed. Brothers Jan Holčík, Pavel Delinga, Ján Brozman, Vladimír Daniš, Miroslav Dubek and many others took part in this discussion.

Brother Miroslav Benža from the congregation in Bratislava – Old Town had an interesting presentation dealing with the demographical analysis of the members of the ECAC in Slovakia in the 20th century and at the beginning of the 21th century. This analysis showed that the number of ECAC members is decreasing and the average age of members is increasing. Because of this fact, it is very important to find a solution for this situation.

At the end, the General Inspector Imrich Lukáč and the General Bishop summarized the discussion. After a prayer, General Bishop Miloš Klátik gave a benediction to all participants.
