On 9 – 11 September the Comenius University in Bratislava will host a symposium of the most prestige association of the Lutheran theology in Europe - Wissenschaftliche Gessellschaft für Theologie. This symposium is co-organised by Evangelical Lutheran Theological Faculty in Bratislava.
The symposium will deal with the theme „Bible authority in today’s secular world“. Significant experts from Austria, Germany and Switzerland will participate and give their lectures on this theme. Among these experts the Evangelical Lutheran Theological Faculty will also have its representative - prof. RNDr. Karol Mičieta, PhD., rector of Comenius University.
„This theme is current in view of society development in Europe as well as in connection to the oncoming 500th anniversary of Reformation, for which the Bible authority became the crucial thought“, said Mgr. Ľubomír Batka, PhD., dean of the Evangelical Lutheran Theological Faculty in Bratislava.
