After New Year´s acceptance the representatives of the Churches and state registered religious communities by President, in the Prezident Palace in Bratislava, 14th January 2016, was held meeting of some representatives Churches at the General Bishop´s Office.
For the first time office visited Apostolic Nuncio in Slovakia, Mons. Mario Giordana. The invitation also accepted Archbishop Rastislav - Orthodox Church in Slovakia, Diocesan Bishop of Spiš Štefan Sečka, Diocesan Archbishop of Trnava Ján Orosch and other representatives from Roman-Catholic Church, Chairman of the Central Union of Jewish Religious Communities in Slovak Republic (SR) Igor Rintel and others.
On the informal meeting representatives of Churches exchanged views on some actual problems, question regarding to migration. They spoke about ecumenical worship services, which will be held in Evangelical Church in Zemianské podhradie, 24th January 2016, on the end of Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
