„Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.“ (John 14.27) This verse has been the motto of the 9th Gathering of Lutheran Women (GLW) that took place in Levice earlier this month.
The conference took place before noon and were continued by worship service in the afternoon. The most important topics discussed were activities and managment of GLW and election of the new coordinators of GLW.
Sermon was given by Agnes von Kirchbach, a lutheran pastor from France and liturgy was carried out by former coordinators. The General bishop Miloš Klátik installed the newly elected sisters into the position of coordinators and served the Lord’s supper subsequently.
