A Last Farewell To Pastor Petra Rollerova

On April 7, 2010, the last farewell to pastor Petra Roller took place in Ulm, which was attended by General Bishop Miloš Klátik and his wife Oľga as well as the chairperson of the Association of Evangelical Pastors, Jaroslav Matys. Petra Rollerová, a longstanding pastor in the church in Ulme-Böfingene, died after a long and trying illness at age 50. President of the Slovak Republic, Ivan Gašparovič, accepted the general secretary of the Lutheran World Federation Ishmael Noko on the occasion of the Pre-assembly talks of LWF for Europe (more in the section General Assembly LWF) on March 17, 2010. The meeting was attended also by the vice-president of LWF for Europe, Peter Stoll, and General bishop Miloš Klátik.

2010 ECAC Synodical Convention will be in Žilina

On February 26, the ECAC Chairmanship of the 2010 Synodical Convention convened in Žilina. In addition to the members of the synodical convention chairmanship - Ivan Mucha, Imrich Lukáč, Daniel Midriak and Dušan Balka – also the members of the Chairmanship of the ECAC and district chairmanships were invited to attend.
