From 17 to 25 May 2011, the International Ecumenical Peace Convocation, which ended the series of meetings in the framework of the Decade to Overcome Violence, was held in Kingston, Jamaica. Attending were representatives of several churches including the General Bishop of the ECAC in Slovakia Miloš Klátik.
On the occasion of the 200th Anniversary of the inauguration of the evangelical church in Deák tér in Budapest on 12 June 2011, the memorial to the Slovak poet, educator and philosopher, Ján Kollár has been revealed.
At the 33rd Kirchentag (Curch days) 2011 in Dresden from 1st to 5th June appeared more representatives from Slovakia.
At the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Regional Development in Bratislava on 17 May 2011, the admission by the first Vice Chairman of the Slovak Government and Minister Ján Figel took place - on the occasion of the recognition of the Stamp made for the 400th Anniversary of the Synod of Žilina.
On Sunday, the 15th of May 2011, the congregation of Senica commemorated the 420th Anniversary of the establishment of this congregation. Attending the festivities were Mr. Miloš Klátik - General Bishop of ECAC and his wife Olga, Mayor of the City Ľubomír Parizek, director of the Municipal Office Katarína Vrlová and delegation from Slovenia, which was headed by Mr. Gejza Filo.
From 6-8 April participated brother Miloš Klátik on the LWF conference in London, to assess the activities of LWF with other representatives of the European Lutheran and to find a way to improve interreligious communication.
The Danube Wave of Peace has been taken over from Slovakia and the main event of DWP took place in Budapest on 20 April 2011. The ECAC in Slovakia was represented by General Bishop Brother Miloš Klátik.
On 7th of March 2011 in Hotel Most Slavy in Trenčianske Teplice a meeting of the Synod board took place.
The main event of the Donau Friedens Welle took place in Vienna in February on Thursday 17th. General Bishop took part on this event and received a symbolic oar.
General Bishop Milos Klatik along with the director of General Bishop’s Office visited the Archbishop's office of the arch diocese of Trnava on 14th of February 2011 in order to invite archbishop Robert Bezak to Komarno, where the main event of “Danube Wave of Peace” will take place on 20th of March.
